Faerie Bread

Hello!

In the facebook group Neopets Nation, Lavinia Nastas mentioned it, Katrina Henriques showed it, I set my sights on it and I knew I HAD to make it!

This is the Fairy Bread - The sprinkles on top are so crunchy! And I have to thank the Australian: first for mentioning this on the group and second for inventing such a funny treat!

Not difficult to make at all, just make sure to use butter, real butter. And not margarine ;)

Faerie Bread - ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - This cute bread receives four stars because, even though it's not the most delicious thing in the world, it is super funny, super cute and it still tastes good. Simple as that :) It just doesn't have five stars as rate because the crunch from the sprinkles actually hurt my teeth a bit :/

Sugared Meatballs

Today I'm bringing you a gross food called Sugared Meatballs - Eww yuck, who would want to eat sugared meatballs?

This was mentioned by Erin A Lucy on the facebook group Neopets Nation. And her questions are legit, I mean, we do indeed eat sweet and sour dishes and we add sugar and other types of sweetners to our foods. So, how yucky could these sugared meatballs be, actually? 

I ended up volunteering to cook my version of these meatballs and share my opinion. I used beef and pork meat, lard, eggs, bread crumbs and sugar for the meatballs, then I cooked them with a soy sauce, mirin, sugar, garlic and ginger paste, sake and rice vinegar sauce to give them a sweeter glaze, and I finished them with three different coatings: regular granulated sugar, cinnamon sugar and powdered sugar.

Sugared Meatballs - ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 1/2 - I have different ratings for the different coatings of the meatballs. My favourite was definitely the one covered with powdered sugar and that received four and a half stars. The others (cinnamon sugar, regular sugar and with no coating, just the glaze sauce) received four stars. Here's the deal: the one covered in regular sugar was overpoweringly sweet, the cinnamon sugar one could have had more cinnamon to make a difference and stand out somehow but the cinnamon in it only ended up cutting the sweetness from the sugar, the one with only the glaze could be perfectly served as a dish in a meal because it was not that sweet and my favourite, the powdered sugar one was a very nice balance between sweet and salty. All in all they weren't yucky at all and after some considerations I would definitely serve the sugar covered ones as an unusual sweet treat, and the ones with only the glaze as part of a dish in a meal.

Seaweed Omelette

Hello!

Today I bring you the Seaweed Omelette - Add a bit of green to your diet by eating seaweed with your omelette! This must have been funny to eat. And somewhat exotic. Unfortunately it wasn't me who ate it but my boyfriend said it was one of the most delicious omelettes he has ever eaten so... I trust him on this 😁

Seaweed Omelette - ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - my boyfriend rated this with four stars because despite being something he is not used to eat in an omelette, he still thinks is delicious. Different... but delicious!

Cinnamon Roll

Hello!

Today I am bringing you the Cinnamon Roll - This cinnamon filled roll is topped with lots of sticky frosting. And the description is just so accurate. I tried a new recipe for this, instead of using the one I already had. The truth is I was never fully happy with my recipe because the cinnamon rolls would be great while warm but after cooling down they would be dry as a desert on Summer.

In my opinion this recipe worked better and I ended up with some really amazing, fluffy and deliciously sweet cinnamon rolls 😁

Cinnamon Roll - ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 1/2 - I am a true fan of cinnamon rolls and cinnabuns so I had to give this the second best rating I've got, which is the four stars and a half. I absolutely love cinnamon (it's such a versatile spice with such a pleasant and refreshing but also warm taste) and the combination of cinnamon and butter in a fluffy bread type cake topped with that cream cheese sweet goodness is just close to perfection.

Tomato and Pepper Omelette

This is the Tomato and Pepper Omelette - Tomato and Pepper omelette is rarely found due to its unique flavour, but I'm sure your Neopet is going to enjoy it. Not only do my neopets enjoy it but also my boyfriend. Simply because you can never go wrong with tomato and pepper 😀.

Peanut Butter and Pickle Sandwich

I've made this food last Summer and I totally forgot to post it! Which is really weird because this is one of my favourite neopian foods, even though it is a gross food 😅. But anyway, now here it is, suggested by Sophia Ruiz, from Neopets Nation, Peanut Butter and Pickle Sandwich - A weird combination, indeed! And as this sure sounds like a not so orthodox combo, it actually tasted amazing 😀 the contrast of the sour/sweet pickle with the greasy and semi-sweet peanut butter was just something I was not expecting but it really goes very well. I ended up making this sandwich more times than I would've expected. If you ever feel the vibe, go for it! The combo weirdness is similar to that of french fries and sundae, for example 😋

Peanut Butter and Pickle Sandwich - ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - I rated this with four stars because it does sound like a weird combination but the truth is it really tastes good. Despite being a gross food, the combo of sweet and sour goes really well together and it helps cutting on the greasy taste from the peanut butter. Feel free to try it one day 😊

Meat Feast Omelette

Who missed the omelettes?!

Well, I did 😊

This is the Meat Feast Omelette - A must for anyone who just loves pepperoni, sausage and ham! I did not taste this omelette but I am pretty sure it was delicious because it only had good things in it :D It was a protein party like no other 😁 

Now, omelettes at this point pretty much need no presentations at all so all I can ask from you is to... enjoy! 💗

Meat Feast Omelette - ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - This omelette was eaten by my boyfriend as lunch at work. He rated it with four stars because he really is a protein lover. Although I did find recently that in general he is an omelette lover so, if it's an omelette and it has meat in it, the more, the better! What a nerd 😂 Nah, I kidd... what would that make me??? 😆
