Holiday Yule Log

Hello!

What could be more festive for this time of year than a cake log? :) That's why I decided to bake this Holiday Yule Log - This delicious roll cake is bursting with chocolate flavour. It's not too complicated to make, most people love it because it's cake and it really warms a person's heart and every table it sits on :) Now, in my house it's only me, my boyfriend and my three cats so I was wondering who the heck was going to eat this log :P gladly I gave half of it to my parents and sister, the next day I had a dinner with a couple of friends and they ate it too AND, the next day, my sister took some more of it to her co-workers, which means this Holiday Yule Log disappeared in about 48 hours. Curiously enough I only ate two slices (which is good, considering my weight 😅).

I could have made it simpler by using a ready made chocolate spread on it (like Nutella). But I decided to use my leftovers. All in all this is just a chocolate cake with chocolate spread in and on it and rolled over itself so, the world is your pickle but the options resume to... chocolate sponge and spread 😇 (which is a very good thing for people who don't like to overthink things.

Holiday Yule Log - ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - This log received four stars because, despite not being my favourite Christmas treat, it was delicious and very chocolaty ^_^ As you may know I really love chocolate so, that's that :)
