Chocolate Omelette

Hello!

This has to be one of the best omelettes from Neopia I have ever tried! This is the Chocolate Omelette - This omelette is perfect for anyone who loves chocolate. It has a chocolate topping and chocolate mixed in with the egg! It is basically like eating a brownie without the flour and without all the waiting time! 

If you ever feel adventurous, give this chocolate omelette a go. If you like chocolate you will not be disappointed (I guess).

Chocolate Omelette - ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - four stars for the Chocolate Omelette because it's really good and resembles a brownie in flavour but almost like a pudding in texture. I was pleasantly surprised by this food ^_^

B-B-Q Pork

Hello!

If you want to impress someone with a decent Neopian food go for this one. B-B-Q Pork - These meaty pork chunks come with a sweet B-B-Q sauce. And indeed the sauce I made was delicious and sweet and savoury but, in all honesty, I would have used a store bought barbecue sauce (if only I had it!) just for the smoked flavour of it.

B-B-Q Pork - ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - This Neopian food is rated four stars because as I was out of store bought barbecue sauce I had to make my own. But the recipe I used, despite being delicious, it tasted more like a sweet and sour sauce than a barbecue sauce so this ended up missing the smoked aroma, which I love. And it made a huge difference here so, yeah, four stars for the deliciousness.

So easy! - Chocolate Coated Hotdog

Hello!

Like I mentioned on my previous blog post I am now going through the venues of more... lets call it exotic... foods. Or weird foods... what ever you wanna call it 😅

I am also starting a new series called So Easy! because some of there foods are pretty much just assembling ingredients together, which makes them really easy to make.

So, for a start on these new paths - and series! - I am bringing you the Chocolate coated hot dog - Hmm chocolate and sausage isn't what you would normally expect, but it makes a nice change from mustard.

Probably I should have used another type of chocolate to coat the hotdog but as I have said before, sometimes I make these foods to use up leftovers or ingredients that are going bad soon or even things I have got laying around on my pantry and I don't use that often so, instead of going for a chocolate spread of some sort, I used up a rest of chocolate topping I had in my pantry just waiting for the "finish him" strike. Gladly, and honestly, I was quite happy with the result.

Chocolate Coated Hotdog - ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - This hotdog received four stars because it was surprisingly pleasant to eat. I already know some meats go really well paired up with chocolate sauces but I did not expect the same results with such a processed product that can barely be called of meat. You know what? Try it! :D

Altadorian Olive Salad

Hello!

Today, just because the weather is hot and I'm on a rush, I'll leave you with the Altadorian Olive Salad - Covered in bits of savoury meat and Altadorian olives.

I'm still very sure this salad would be better with some other type of green instead of just lettuce, and it would have been a level up if I indeed used chicken or turkey instead of the tofu but, mind me, it was a very delicious salad 😉

Altadorian Olive Salad - ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - I gave this dish four stars and not five just because of the lettuce, which I don't fancy, and because I should have used chicken or turkey meat instead of tofu. But otherwise this was a very yummy salad ^_^.

Strawberry Fruit Pancakes

Hello!
The Altador Cup is over and I'm back with some more Neopian Foods to share with you.
I know I've been cooking very reasonable (and edible, mind you) Neopian foods lately but the truth is I wasn't feeling very adventurous and so I decided to keep it on the safer side. Plus, like I have already mentioned somewhere (I think... not sure though) I don't make this just for fun, these Neopian foods actually become my meals, either it's breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack... you name it! And most of the times I have people to share them with (aka my boyfriend) so I choose the ones I know that are going to be appreciated so I don't waste food.
But guess what? Gladly I am coming out of that mood and I am betting now on more weird foods (specially gross foods). Lets see if I can keep the track. Don't forget that if you have any suggestions, just let me know. You have several ways to do it:

It's not that I don't feel down with the position my team got, but it's not that much of a big deal to make me go sour 😂

Butterscotch Latte

Hello!

Today I have a drink to show you. This is the Butterscotch Latte - All the richness of butterscotch with the smoothness of sweet coffee. A very nice and pleasant drink, easy to make and easier to consume 😁.

The caramel touch from the butterscotch sauce with the aroma of the coffee go really well together. For this drink I used a vegetable substitute for milk and barley instead of coffee (unfortunatelly, since I am off my stomach medication, I seem to be more sensitive to lactose and I would get severe heartburn if I drank coffee - I still can consume both things but I need to take in consideration quantities, how my body is feeling that day and other criteria). It is easy to make the coffee overpowering though so we need to pay attention to use about three parts butterscotch sauce to half part of coffee. I was just bummed that I didn't have more butterscotch sauce to use since the quantity of barley I used ended up being more than it should and it overshadowed the butterscotch flavour... but it was there, the aroma was there. Subtle but existent 😊 Oh, and I believe this must be even more delicious as a freddo drink 😉.

Butterscotch Latte - ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - This drink received four stars out of five because the barley I used overpowered the butterscotch aroma. I also prefer my drinks cold instead of hot. But otherwise this is a very good drink!

Shenkuu Shrimp Fried Rice

Hello!

Today's neopian recipe on the menu is Shenkuu Shrimp Fried Rice - Shenkuu Mountain shrimp are extremely rare...not many survive mountain life.

This was news to me because I had never cooked fried rice before... well, at least not this way, which was the closest I got to the fried rice recipes out there right now.

Anyway, as you may know, I have no way to get Shenkuu shrimp (and I believe all of us don't 😂) so I just picked the most exotic/weird looking shrimp I found on the supermarket.

The end result was an amazing bowl of Shenkuu shrimp fried rice that was our dinner and left us craving for more!!!

Shenkuu Shrimp Fried Rice -  ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 1/2 - this neopian dish ends up with four and a half stars because it was amazingly delicious and the more we had, the more we would eat. Those shrimps might not be from Shenkuu but they tasted amazing!
